Important Notice for U.S. Customers

(Updated as of August 1, 2025)

Recent changes to U.S. import regulations may affect how certain products are taxed depending on their shipping origin and country of manufacture.
To help ensure a smooth delivery, please review the following information before placing your order.

________________________________

1. Shipments from Japan

As of August 1, 2025, the U.S. government has implemented a 15% reciprocal tariff on goods shipped from Japan.
This tariff applies regardless of where the product was manufactured. Even if an item is made in another country, it may still be subject to this tariff if it is shipped from Japan.

2. Products Made in Japan

Starting August 29, 2025, the U.S. government will end the de minimis exemption that previously allowed goods valued under USD $800 to enter duty-free.
This means that products made in Japan will also be subject to import duties, regardless of their value.

If the declared value exceeds USD $800, additional duties may apply depending on the product type and materials.
For further details, please consult U.S. Customs before placing your order.

3. Products Made in China or Hong Kong

As of May 2, 2025, the United States no longer applies the de minimis exemption to goods made in China or Hong Kong.
This means that import duties may apply even if the total value is under USD $800.

In addition, starting August 1, 2025, a new U.S. policy imposes high tariffs—reportedly up to 125%—on many products made in China and Hong Kong.
Please keep this in mind before ordering products marked “Made in China” or “Made in Hong Kong.”

4. Duties and How They Are Charged

If import duties or customs clearance fees are incurred, they are usually collected by the shipping carrier at the time of delivery.
For shipments to the United States, our store uses EMS, and the final delivery will be handled by USPS, the U.S. postal service.
Please make any required payments directly to USPS upon delivery.

The amount of duties is determined by U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), and unfortunately we are not able to provide advance estimates.
If you choose not to pay the duties, the package will be returned to Japan or disposed of by the authorities.

If you have any concerns about import duties, we recommend contacting your local customs office before placing your order.

5. Country of Origin

We offer products made in Japan, the Philippines, China, and Taiwan.
Please note that the country of origin may change without prior notice depending on manufacturing circumstances.
The origin of each product is clearly listed on the product page—please review this information carefully before placing your order.

6. Refused Shipments

If a package is refused due to duties or taxes, we regret that we cannot offer a refund for the product or shipping cost.
Thank you for your understanding.
